Molnlycke Granudacyn Gel 50g

Granudacyn® Wound gel is a ready-to-use, clear gel for cleaning and moistening acute and chronic wounds as well as for keeping wounds moist. Cleaning of wounds prevents wound infection. In wounds that are already infected, adjuvant wound irrigation can help to significantly reduce the microbial load. This results from the mechanical effect of the irrigation, which together with moistening promotes wound healing.

Granudacyn® Wound gel may be used for the thorough wound cleaning of:
Acute or chronic wounds as well as surface wounds
Cuts, abrasions and 1st and 2nd degree burns
Critically colonised or infected wounds.
Granudacyn® Wound gel can be used by lay persons under supervision of health care professionals and is suitable for repeated use.

Directions:
- Shake well before use.
- Clean the wound and surrounding area with Granudacyn® Wound Irrigation solution and dab dry. Apply Granudacyn® Wound gel to the affected areas and cover with asuitable secondary dressing.

Granudacyn® Wound gel can be used with Mölnlycke Health Care foam dressings:
Mepilex, Mepilex Border and Mepilex Border Flex.

Precautionary:
- Should not be combined with other wound cleaning products (such as enzymatic wound cleaners)
- Do not mix with other products or chemicals.
- Do not ingest orally.
- Do not apply onto or inject into tissue using pressure.
- Do not use if you experience hypersensitivity or suspected allergy to the components.

Warnings:
• Store the product between 3 and 25°C
• Protect from direct sunlight
• Once opened, use within 90 days
